  Love the staff. Very friendly and energetic at dinner, great cook. The night Manager is the best drink maker and welcoming every time I see her. Been coming here for a few months now. Good relaxed place to enjoy a meal or snack. (Love the nacos)

  My family and another family went to ¡Lotería! Grill for lunch and we did not have a great experience...
  
  First off, the service was slow. The restaurant had already been vacant when we walked inside. I waited, for my burrito and my friend's burrito, for about 10-15 minutes.
  
  Secondly, they got my friend's order wrong! The pressure on employees is already enough, but when they admited that they had gotten his order wrong, an employee pressured my friend not to have the "busy" chef remake an entire burrito, which takes a lot of strength, right? I think not. My friend desired to mitigate the tensity that had suddenly overflowed the room. Because he ordered what we wanted and he didn't get it.
  
  As we observed the chef's cooking process, we noticed that the chef inserted a package full of pinto beans into the microwave, which was loosely wrapped in a small and shabby plastic wrap. After two full minutes, the chef pulled out the bag and the pinto beans looked that of mush, the kind of food a school cafeteria would serve students. It looked completely disgusting and its flavor lacked... well... tastiness; it was absolutely repulsive. In addition the steak that I had ordered and the chicken that my friend had ordered were as hard as a rock… really! The only reason why the steak was firm was that the chef lackadaisically threw the steak onto the oven and attended to the other orders.
  
  Food is food, but even ¡Lotería! Grill did not meet the standards that you would expect from a $10 + per meal Mexican grill.

  Went here 9/4 for lunch. Service was so slow. If you have 1.5 hours to eat and don't mind waiting ten minutes just to get water, then you may not think it slow. It's the kind of place where one person should be able to wait all the tables but there were two people and the place was 1/3 full. The food was decent, but not great for the money. Shrimp burrito was mostly rice. Guacamole was about as good as Albertson's. You are much better off going to the Mexican place in Wizin square, Los Dos Amigos down TO BLVD or basically anywhere in Camarillo. Will not be going back obviously.
